Always use detergents without perfume or optical brighteners to avoid attracting wildlife. Also, avoid fabric softener.

Always follow the instructions on the care label. Some garments require a low spin cycle – indicated by a line below the temperature rating.

For cotton products: Wash them in the washing machine according to the label. We recommend not tumble drying cotton items, as this will cause the fabric to wear out faster.

Wool products should generally only be aired, as wool has self-cleaning properties. If washing is necessary, use a special wool detergent and the special wool program on your washing machine.

For membrane products, it's best to use liquid detergents to avoid residues in the membrane. Spin at a low speed. To refresh the durable water repellent (DWR) finish, you can tumble dry the garment according to the care label instructions.
